Blossom
These Rune are rarely seen as this Subtype only appears once for every ten Rune, meaning they show up at 10, 20, 30 ect.... Blossom Rune are known for their impressive curled horns and calm demeanor. While outsiders often mistake them for being stubborn, these Rune simply place tremendous value on patience and careful consideration. They are the keepers of history within Rune society. Ancient records, rune tablets, and forgotten stories are often entrusted to their elders. Many spend decades studying old symbols and preserving knowledge that might otherwise be lost. Blossom Rune believe every action leaves an imprint upon the world. Because of this philosophy, they are slow to judge others and strongly believe in redemption and personal growth. It is not uncommon for them to act as advisors during disputes between Circles. The rune growing from their bodies are often larger and more numerous than those of other subtypes. Elders sometimes develop markings so old that younger Rune consider them living archives. Their magic specializes in defensive runes and protective barriers, making them highly respected during times of crisis.

Petal
Petal Rune are recognized by their pointed curved horns. Among all Rune subtypes, they possess the strongest connection to the wilderness and nature. Most Petal Rune spend much of their lives traveling through ancient forests and sacred lands. They act as wardens, ensuring that natural balance is maintained between creatures, spirits, and Rune settlements. Unlike Bulb Rune, these Rune are often solitary and deeply introspective. Many feel more comfortable among trees than crowds. Despite this, they are fiercely loyal and will travel incredible distances to aid those they care about. They are known for being quiet and observant. They rarely speak without purpose and often spend more time listening than talking. This can make them seem distant, but those who earn a Petal Rune's trust often discover a loyal friend with surprising insight. Their magic allows them to communicate with plants, summon roots, and sense disturbances within their territory.

Spore
Spore Rune are the smallest and most energetic Rune subtype. Their curled tails and shorter horns often make them appear younger than they truly are. While some view them as troublemakers, Spore Rune are responsible for many magical discoveries throughout Rune history. They possess naturally curious minds and are constantly experimenting with new things. Most Rune festivals, celebrations, and artistic traditions can be traced back to these Runes influence. They are passionate storytellers, musicians, and crafters who believe that joy is just as important as wisdom. Spore Rune often decorate their rune stones with flowers, ribbons, or glowing pigments. Many enjoy collecting unusual objects during their travels and are known for having surprisingly large collections of trinkets. Their magic focuses on light, and illusion. Skilled Spore Rune can create floating rune symbols that dance through the air like living fireflies.

Bulb
Bulb Rune are considered the heart of Rune society and are the subtype most often encountered. Their tall, straight horns are viewed as symbols of honesty and clear intentions. Among Rune Circles, these Rune often become mediators, merchants, and caretakers because they have a natural talent for understanding different viewpoints. Unlike other subtypes, Bulb Rune rarely seek positions of authority. They believe leadership should be earned through trust rather than status. Their rune markings tend to develop in neat, orderly patterns, and many believe their markings are among the easiest to read. Bulb Rune are commonly found living near grasslands, open forests, and river valleys where communities can flourish. They enjoy gathering stories, trading goods, and maintaining friendships between neighboring Circles and other folk. Their natural magic allows them to strengthen plant life and encourage growth in struggling ecosystems. Because of this, many villages view these Rune as symbols of prosperity and good fortune.
